is coming to Ft. Worth for a special performance benefitting STARS Theater Company’s Capital Campaign, “There’s No Place Like Home”.

Stop that train! The railroad tycoon, Horace Grimsby has been murdered and a deadly gunslinger is in town!

Marshal Jim Courtright is more nervous than a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Homicidal Hank, the hit man for hire, ain’t the only suspect. There’s also Buffalo Joe, a buffalo hunter that’s spent a little too much time ridin’ the range; Catastrophe Kate who’s the local cattle rancher with a serious grudge against mules; and Sissy Mae Prissbottom, a writer of genteel poetry for ladies with a secret to hide.  This zany cast of characters is more volatile than a case of nitro on a runaway wagon.  It’s your job to help Marshal Jim Courtright figure out who dunnit!

Cinch up yer saddle and join the posse — we’ve got a murder to solve!

Doors open at 6:00pm and dinner will be served at 7:00pm. Tickets are $100.
Seating is limited and reservations are required. Cocktail attire requested.

Y’all won’t want to miss it!

STARS Theater Company There's No Place Like Home

In 2012, Stars lost its home, leaving us without a space to rehearse and perform. Since then, we have relied on the assistance and generosity of friends and donors. Friends such as First United Methodist Church, who allow us to use their community center and stage to rehearse and perform. Theater, however, is an expensive undertaking, especially operating as a non-profit and maintaining reasonable prices for patrons and students alike.

And so we created our annual Gala, “There’s No Place Like Home,” an event dedicated to finding Stars a home.

At this event, we invite potential sponsors and benefactors to spend an evening of murder mystery dinner theater with us.

Any way you can help is encouraged and greatly appreciated.
