Goals

The STARS Theater faculty members and board of directors have several goals for the company; and many goals have already been accomplished. In 1995, STARS produced its first full-length musical. The following year, a Summer Camp program was developed for students interested in learning how to design and build scenery.  STARS soon added a professional voice teacher to the staff.

Future goals for STARS Theater Company include developing a youth group for national and international touring, and an International Youth Festival.

STARS currently has several alumni enrolled in universities and conservatories across the country pursuing careers in theater.  STARS’ Board of Directors and staff are proud to give these young people a start toward their dream.  As STARS continues to evolve and thrive, we move forward with a sincere desire to continue to enrich the lives of our community’s youth.
